Conference Schedule and Sessions

HVAC Excellence appreciates the suggestions that conference participants have shared. Based on these suggestions we are pleased to announce some changes to help improve the National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference. Conferences can help instructors gain a great deal of knowledge and build new industry partnerships in a short period of time. However, they can be exhausting as well! To help alleviate the stresses of the long days many of you have come to know, we have organized classes to end by 4:30 P.M. each day. This  schedule  should provide more time to decompress and foster networking opportunities in the evening. Another change we are working on is to make the Exposition a little more fun. The Monday event will feature an open bar and Hors d’oeuvres, while the Tuesday and Wednesday events will feature lunch in the exposition hall. We are eager to hear of other ideas that further help our partners that present, exhibit, or both make this event even more valuable to ...

HVAC Excellence Education Conference: Hot Topics Update

Image
When we plan our HVAC Excellence Education Conference , we rely on our student and instructor performance data to gauge what session topics instructors can best benefit from and how many people will attend them. However, we never really know for sure what will spark the interest of attendees until the event is conducted. That is, until now!   As our conference continues on its virtual platform, and participants continue to view the 130+ sessions, we can see what our participants deem to be the “hot topics” of the event. Not surprisingly, the most viewed subject areas include airflow, compressors, ECM motors, mini-split systems, and refrigerants. Of course, all sessions having to do with teaching methodologies and improving instructional delivery continue to be extremely popular. Some of the online sessions have over 900 views to date, which shows amazing interest from the nearly 1,000 conference registrants.    Remember, conference registrants still have the ability t...

HVACR Education Exploring Uncharted Territories

Image
In 1803, Lewis and Clark led an expedition into the Louisiana territory, which was recently purchased from France by President Thomas Jefferson. They did so, being fully aware that the expedition would not be easy but was necessary if future progress was to be made. Similarly, when the COVID-19 pandemic began, most people, like Lewis and Clark, found themselves in uncharted territories. From going to work, attending classes, and participating in conferences, all the rules changed overnight. The rules for HVAC Excellence’s   National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference   also changed. Putting everyone’s safety at the forefront of the event, HVAC Excellence made two important decisions. First, they chose to forgo their in-person 2021 event, in adherence with CDC guidelines. Second, they decided, for the good of the industry, to try something completely different to not only help instructors through these difficult times, but also provide educators with new and innovative sol...

Beware of Fake Email List

We value the organizations that participated in the National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference. We know that you have choices in the events you participate in and want to make your experience in working with instructors a great one.   For our valued show organizers, you are likely aware of a common trade show scam, where rogue list brokers target exhibitors at events such as ours. Please note that we do not sell our list. T hese offers are not valid. However, participating organizations will receive an official directory of attendees, post-conference, as specified in the prospectus. This directory will come directly from HVAC Excellence or ESCO Group.
